Te Wiki O Te Maori

Hello bloggers of the world! 

Today I am going to be blogging about Te Wiki O Te Maori. Te Wiki O Te Maori means Maori Language week, so for Te Wiki O Te Maori we have been working on things like making Pixel art and making games. My favourite thing that we did was making a google drawing on the Maori Gods from the book In the Beginning. It was based on the different god in the myths and how the brothers separated their parents ( Papatuanuku and Ranginui ). So what we had to do was to name the different gods and fin the best picture that you thought that that god had. I had 9 gods to work on the gods names were Tawhitimatea ( God of Winds and Storms )  , Tu ( God of War ) , Tane Mahuta ( God of Forests and Birds ) , Rongo ( God of Peace) , Tangaroa ( God of the sea ) , Haumia ( God of Uncultivated Food ) , Ururangi ( God of Stars ) , Paptuanuku ( Mother Earth )  and Ranginui ( Father Sky ) .  My favourite god is Tawhitimatea because he was the only one that didn't want to separate his parents, he also thought that it was cruel. I also did an art piece on him but I cannot share that with you because it is not finished and also because it is not apart of this kind of activity. Anyways her is my Google Drawing about the different Gods.
