Summer Learning Journey - Wk1 D1 A2

Hey bloggers! For Day 1 Acticity 2  SLJ we have to talk about our culture and about our families! 

I have 11 people in my family, ( including me ) I am from Tonga and Samoa. My mum is from Tonga and my dad is from Samoa! I really love my family and we love to do things as a team, my family likes to be involved is things, especially sports! My dad wants to teach us all self - defence so that we know what to do when we are introuble! My mum wants us to play ripper rugby or netball, but I'd rather go with Ripper because I've played Netball for a long time and me and my siblings want to try something new! My family is also BIG about the Gosple we love to go to church to learn new things, we are members of The church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. This is about my family and yeah!

Summer Learning Journey - Week 1 Day 1

Explorers 

Talofa Bloggers! This week for Summer Learning Journey ( Day One ) is about Explores. We have to write down 10 things that we would take if we were to go ad explore another island. Here they are!

1. Frozen Water - I would take frozen water because I need to keep hydrated and I don't want to faint on the sea and then drown. I would take it FROZEN because on the Island it could get hot and the water could melt.
2. Canned Fruit - I would take canned fruit because food in cans never go off and I wouldn't know how long I want to stay at the island or how long ti take to get to the island.
3. Canned Food - I would take this for dinner and lunch. ( I explained why canned food in the FRUIT Article  )
4. Cookies - I would take cookies just for a snack when i'm on the way to the island.
5. Apple - I would take an apple for another snack
6. Seaweed - I would take Seaweed because it's one of my most favourite foods and I just love it so I would take it.
7. Kiwi Fruit - I would take Kiwi Fruit because its from my home country and because it's just so refreshing to eat and nice.
8. Gum - Gum because I need something to entertain me while I go to the Island ( blowing bubbles )
9. Calcium - I NEED calcium because I need to keep healthy
10. Vegetables - I ALSO NEED THIS BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO GET FAT WHILE ON THE ISLAND AND GOING TO THE ISLAND.

Athletics Day!

Hello  Bloggers of the world! 

Today I am going to be about Athletics Day. On the 19th of November we had our Athletics day! We had a lot of activity's, like High jump, sprints, 200 metre run, tennis, obstacle course,
team building, fun relays, watching sprints and House relays. We were all split into our age groups but the 10 and 11 year old's were together. I was in the 10 and 11 year old's age group. We started off with Shot put and ended with House Relays. For the house relays we were put into our houses instead of age groups, our house names are Ruru, Kea, Tui and Pukeko. My personal favorite was High Jump because I LOVE to do high jump. The highest that I can jump is 1.16. Although the worst thing about it was that it was on a Tuesday because we had school the next day. But this was probably one of the best days of the year! Here are some photo's of the day!
